Holographic Fireplaces - popular topics
We regularly receive questions about our holographic fireplaces. We would like to get you started with the most common topics.
Advantages of a holographic fire
Holographic fireplaces offer numerous advantages. They are maintenance free, easy to install and use, do not require a flue and offer the flexibility of independently controlling the flame pattern and heating. Moreover, they are safe and environmentally friendly, also called NetZero, as they produce no harmful emissions. Characteristic of our Kalfire E-one is therefore the slogan: zero emissions, endless possibilities. Whereas gas and wood fires have quite a few restrictions around emissions and installation options, the Kalfire E-one holographic fireplace can be installed literally anywhere. All while maintaining an unprecedentedly realistic fire experience via the 3D holograms projected onto the logs. You have to see it, to believe it!
How to install a holographic fireplace?
Installing a holographic fireplace is a popular choice for those looking for a sleek, modern look. To do this, you first need to determine the right location and make sure the necessary electric connection are in place. A common location is under the TV for the cinewall effect. With our E-one holographic ambient fireplaces, however, you can unleash your creativity in terms of installation options. On a bedroom, boat, restaurant, penthouse, flat, hotel lobby or room: our E-one has endless installation locations. Please note: the cabinets and building process, alltogether in a correct installation, requires specialty expertise even with our E-one. We therefore always recommend you let a dealer handle the installation.
Holographic fireplace vs gas fireplace?
Choosing between a holographic fireplace and a gas fireplace depends on your needs and preferences. Holographic fireplaces are generally easier to install and do not require a gas connection - this opens up a world of possibilities for holographic fireplaces. They also offer more design flexibility and are more environmentally friendly. Gas fireplaces, on the other hand, offer instant heat and a real flame, but require a chimney and gas (or propane) connection. Both our holographic fireplaces and gas fires mimic a real fire as realistically as possible. Our Kalfire E-one holographic fireplace with heater (Atmos Heating) has an output of 2 kW (2000 watts) which provides atmospheric heating. Our gas fires, depending on the type, have a lot more power and can therefore be used as auxiliary heating, complementary to underfloor heating, for example. For instance, our Gi gas fires have a capacity between 1.9 kW and 6.9 kW.
Holographic fireplace vs wood fire?
Holographic fireplaces are cleaner and easier to maintain than wood fireplaces. They offer atmospheric heat and require no wood stock or chimney. You also don't have to consider the environment and installation restrictions with an E-one holographic fireplace. Wood fires, on the other hand, offer an authentic fire experience and require more work and maintenance - something the hobbyist obviously has no problem with. Whereas E-one holographic fireplaces stand for freedom and durability, our wood fireplaces stand for authenticity and fire in its purest form. The choice between the two depends on your preference for convenience and aesthetics.
Holographic fire under TV
A holographic fireplace under TV is also known as a cinewall. The E-one holographic fireplace has a power consumption of 110 watts, similar to that of the average TV. The 3D hologram effect under a TV creates a real eye-catcher in your living space. The E-one is available in various versions so you can align the fireplace with your TV.
